July

We were so excited for July to come. My parents drove down form Vernal to be with us for a whole week! We took them to all our favorite spots, including the Mesa Temple and the Gilbert Temple, the nearby lake one day, and a river another day, where we swam and played for hours. We also went to a museum, but don't get me wrong, there was also a ton of down time in which we played card games, took naps, and enjoyed the air conditioning.

 

Xander discovered how to use his high chair as a walker. It was hilarious!

The middle of the month, Garrett got asked to go interview at a mine in Silver City, New Mexico. We headed out hopefully, if not a bit nervously.

Sleepy babies in the car, love them!

 While Garrett was doing his full day interview, the children and I found the amazing community park and had a great time. I just kept praying and praying, "Please, let this become our park!" It wasn't so much about the park, but rather that we were running out of time to find a job before Garrett's internship ended. We didn't hear from them for a whole month.
